Cancellation Policy -

In order to accommodate the unfortunate events that may prevent an attendee from attending teh Malware Conference, the steering Committee has adopted the following cancellation policy.

Cancellation Policy - Malware Conference:

A. If you are not a presenting author, registration may be cancelled, but no later than September 14th, of the corresponding year, and may be subject to a 20% cancellation fee. Registrants who cancel beyond this date, or fail to attend, forfeit the registration fee. Please follow the guidelines below in order to receive your refund:

  1. All request must be send to fcco@wssrl.org, and include in the subject line REQUEST OF CANCELLATION FOR THE MALWARE CONFERENCE. The requests must be received on or before September 14th, of the corresponding CONFERENCE year at 23:59:59. The request must include the following information in the body of the email:

  name of person(s) requesting the cancellation;

  address of person(s) requesting the cancellation;

  address where the Proceedings of the Conference, and the conference materials should be send;

  email address used to pay for the registration; and

  the following paragraph must be included as part of the body of the email:

 

"I,  (fill in your name), requests that my registration for the Malware Conference 20XX be cancelled effective immediately. I understand that at this late date, the Malware Conference has incurred a set of expenses that can no longer be recovered, and as such the amount of cancellation refunded to me will be determined by the CONFERENCE based on the type of registration that I have selected. 

B. If you are a presenting author, registration may not be cancelled. Registrants who are authors and cancel, or fail to attend, forfeit the registration fee.

If an author, then, include the following sentence as part of your request. 

"I understand, that by cancelling my registration, my manuscript (fill out manuscript # - and Manuscript title) will be removed from the proceedings of the conference, and will not appear as part of the IEEE Xplore library."

 

No refunds will be issued if requested after September 14th, of the corresponding year.

C. If the Malware Conference ("CONFERENCE") is postponed to a later date or cancelled altogether due to weather or other “Act of God”, then, the CONFERENCE will apply the entire amount of the registration fee, less accrued expenses, such as: (i) expenses associated with the generation and printing of the CONFERENCE proceedings, (ii) non-refundable accrued Hotel expenses, (iii) IEEE non-refundable accrued society expenses,(iv) accrued expenses associated with gifts such as bags, hats, and others issued by the CONFERENCE to participants.
